the east end thrift store.

So the east end thrift store are having a 'super-massive spring party' next thursday. These nights usually involve a lot of "i-saw-that-first"s and cat fights with strangers. It's been recommended by various fashion magazines as THE place of vintage fashion, but from past experiences of friends, it is notoriously hard to get in to due to massive public demand.  If it starts at 7 p.m. on ThursdayApril 1st. I'd recommend queuing for 4/5ish (don't forget there's a free bar). Hm...may have to call in sick that day.

*bites fist*

I literally can not get over these leather wedge mules from Alexander Wang's S/S 10 collection:

Hello (or should I say goodbye?) overdraft. However, for now I will settle for these, from urban outfitters (despite them royally fucking me over last time I ordered from them.) Black or beige?:

...

I'm feeling a bit at a crossroads. A massive part of me is telling me to just carry on as I am, gain the work experience I need, avoid the debt and eventually get to where I want to be (in theory), or should I go back to school? I can't help look at the VM courses at LCF and think I'm too advanced for a beginners course. Perhaps it requires more research? I did, after all, receive (predicted) distinctions in VM at the FRA. Then I stumble across a Fashion Promotion & Marketing degree. Sounds right up my street. I just don't know what i want, when so many other people in this business do. I'll get back to you.

sceptical.

As many of you will know, I'm willing to jump on any beauty trend band wagon (see one partially regretted undercut). However, I can't help feeling a lack of commitement to this one. Is it just me, or does the new 'tint of pink' eye shadow trend seen in shows such as Stella McCartney and YSL just make you look like you have an eye infection?
